ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP
ORDINARY
Ordinary
Membership of the Association is open to all those who have
served in
H.M.
Forces,
Saint John Ambulance Brigade, Merchant Navy and the Civil
Service, during
the 2nd
World
War,
The Malayan Emergency,
The Borneo Indonesian Confrontation,
The Brunei
Insurrection and the Dutch East Indies Insurrection
(Java/Sumatra)
Sept 1945 ~ Nov
1946, and all who served in these areas since.
ASSOCIATE
Associate
Membership of the Association is open to all those who have
served as
above, the
spouses and widows/widowers of persons who would have qualified,
the children and grandchildren of those who have served, and
those who would have qualified in the above theatres during the
above times, and civilians who were held captive during the
Japanese occupation in the said Countries.
HONORARY
An Ordinary Member
shall be entitled to propose for Honorary Membership of
the
Association, any person not otherwise qualified to apply for
Ordinary/Associate
Membership
in recognition for special services rendered, and whose election
would
advance the
interests of the Association.
